Primary Pastoral Care

We have been very busy with our pastoral care activities this term. We enjoyed many Iftar dinners at our parents’ homes. We also went to the Almina Restaurant with Year 6 Pastoral Care girls on the 24th of May where we had a fun evening. Thank you to all my students who made the evening memorable.

Secondly, our Year 6 girls read a book about Prophet Muhammed for a reading competition, and studied with their mentor Miss Ayse every Friday at lunchtime. Three students from Year 6 were selected to participate in our Intercampus RV Competition on 20th Of June.

The Year 6 Pastoral Care girls organised a Ramadan Campaign toy and stationery sale during lunchtime on the 24th and 25th of May. I would like to thank all our parents for their support, as well as my lovely students, and also Mrs Madiha Waqas (Yumna Ahmed 1B) and Olfat Elmasri (Yousuf Elmasri 3B) for their help. May Allah accept the assistance of us all.

Lastly, during the month of Ramadan, every day at lunchtime the Pastoral Care department organised Quran lessons for girls in Years 6 to 10. Students proficient in reading the Quran had the opportunity to teach schoolmates who had not yet acquired that ability. Pastoral care teachers were also there to lend their support.

Warm regards,
Ms Neslihan Kirazli
